“I revel in those things that make for good- the things that we can do to shed a little light, to help place an oft-dissonant universe back in tune with itself… Long live art, long live friendship, long live the joy of life!”

— Jessye norman, soprano

Our Mission

An Indivisible Art Collective is an art education non-profit, focused on bringing together local businesses, artists and art educators who value community building and racial equity in the nation’s capital. Our initiatives promote individual creative growth and work towards bringing community events, art education and food security to D.C.’s marginalized youth and residents. We believe in fostering an open dialogue of resistance through storytelling and raising the voices of marginalized POC, women, and queer identifying artists.

Art is fundamental to spiritual wellness and liberation. It’s a human right.

Our Story

We came together in the Summer of 2017 as socially conscious artists who were passionate about cultivating a diverse arts community in our beloved D.C. What started out as a spontaneous gathering of musicians, artists, activists, and creative souls, has grown to include initiatives spanning art education, community events, mutual aid markets, and food security initiatives. We are committed to bringing accessible events, art education, and food security workshops to D.C. communities.
